Brentford boss Thomas Frank was seen hugging Tottenham star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, just days before testing positive for coronavirus.
The Bees manager has been struck down by Covid-19 and is now set for a period of isolation.
He had been in charge as Spurs beat their Championship opponents to reach the League Cup final earlier this week.
And, at the end of the encounter, cameras picked up Frank embracing Tottenham midfielder Hojbjerg and having a lengthy chat.
The two have a close relationship with Frank coaching Hojbjerg for Denmark’s Under-17s and Under-19s.
Frank is one of two Brentford representatives to test positive with the Bees stating he will “isolate at home for ten days under EFL and Government regulations”.
Though he appears not to have passed the virus on to Hojbjerg, with Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho saying his whole squad tested negative.
The Premier League is now testing players and club staff twice per week amid a sharp rise in cases across England.

"I think every club does the best to try to keep the players safe.
"But then there are moments in private lives that you cannot control and of course, not everyone can be blamed for that so I think we have to carry on.
