Tottenham and West Ham have released damning statements slamming their own players for breaking Covid-19 rules.
The Premier League giants saw Sergio Reguilon, Giovani Lo Celso, Erik Lamela and Hammers star Manuel Lanzini break regulations by attending a party on Christmas Day.
Meeting in London, which is in Tier 4 where people are prohibited from meeting other households indoors, the players were snapped with 11 other adults, two children and a baby.
And West Ham have now released a statement criticising the player's actions – despite him coming off the bench in Friday's 1-0 win against Everton.
Writing on their website, it reads: "The Club has set the highest possible standards with its protocols and measures relating to COVID-19 so we are disappointed to learn of Manuel Lanzini’s actions.
“We are extremely disappointed and strongly condemn this image showing some of our players with family and friends together at Christmas," the statement reads.
"Particularly as we know the sacrifices everybody around the country made to stay safe over the festive period.
"The rules are clear, there are no exceptions, and we regularly remind all our players and staff about the latest protocols and their responsibilities to adhere and set an example.
"The matter will be dealt with internally."
The photo is believed to have been taking at Lo Celso's house, with replicas of the Ligue 1 and Coupe de la Ligue trophies he won with PSG seen in the background.
Shared on the Argentine's Instagram page, it saw the midfielder be joined his international team-mates Lamela and Lanzini while Spaniard Reguilon is in his debut season for Spurs.
While the Hammers star shared the same snap on his own Instagram story, with the quote: "Feliz Navidad."
While Spurs' Argentine players miss the game against Leeds due to positive Covid-19 tests, Reguilon was named on the bench.
