Tottenham and AC Milan are among a number of clubs eyeing a summer move for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports. The 21-year-old has been in prolific form for the Serie A strugglers this season, scoring 12 goals in 27 domestic appearances for the club.
Spurs appear to be in the market for a new striker ahead of next season, with the futures of Harry Kane and Carlos Vinicius far from certain.
The former has been linked with a move away from north London in order to win trophies while still in his prime.
Manchester City and Manchester United have both been tipped to land the 27-year-old at the end of the season.
In addition, Vinicius is set to return to Benfica in the summer upon the conclusion of his season-long loan deal.
Jose Mourinho’s side have been linked with a number of possible alternatives in attack, with the likes of Paulo Dybala and Danny Ings just two of the forwards to have been mentioned in connection with Spurs in recent months.

However, it appears as if they could decide against recruiting an experienced finisher in favour of an investment in young talent.
Vlahovic is firmly on Tottenham’s radar, but the club faces a battle with AC Milan for his signature, according to Italian newspaper La Repubblica.
Borussia Dortmund, West Ham United and Roma are also named among the striker’s potential suitors as well as Real Madrid, with the report claiming that there have been ‘whispers’ about a possible approach from Los Blancos.
However, Fiorentina are eager to keep hold of their man and have been tipped to make the ‘very important’ offer of a new and improved contract in order to ward off interested parties.
The Florence outfit have endured a torrid campaign to date, sitting just four places and seven points above the relegation zone, but Vlahovic’s form has been a major positive to take from their disappointing season.
The youngster has cemented a place in Cesare Prandelli’s side this season, with his frightening ability in front of goal leading to comparisons with Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
He is valued at just £14.4million by Transfermarkt, suggesting that Spurs could look to land him as a cut-price alternative to the likes of Dybala or Ings.
Dybala has been linked with a move to Spurs for a number of years, and reportedly came close to signing for the club during the summer of 2019.
A deal was said to be nearing completion before the transfer was jeopardised by concerns over the 27-year-old’s image rights.
Meanwhile, Ings was tipped to join Mourinho’s side in January after impressing up front for Southampton since the beginning of last season.
Spurs only managed to score one goal during the enforced absence of Kane at the beginning of the year, after the England skipper suffered injuries to both ankles in the defeat to Liverpool in January.
In the event that Kane leaves at the end of the season, it would leave a monumental hole in Mourinho’s plans that would need to be addressed with a quality replacement.
