Tottenham: Mourinho slams players for COVID breach

Tottenham (4-2-3-1)

Lloris 7

Had little to do, but commanding and strong. Defence in front of him strong and secure – mostly.

Aurier 7

Sloppy early on. Recovered, got forward well. Great stop to deny Toney. Lifted shot over.

Sanchez 7

Recalled. Worked hard, won his headers. Kept Toney under control for most of the game.

Dier 7

Strong and determined as ever. Leads Spurs at the back. Fierce tackles – a real winner.

Reguilon 7

Back in the side after his COVID party gaffe. But began to pay his debt with lovely cross for opening goal. Booked.

Sissoko 7

Came in from nowhere to catch out the Bees defence to nod in that crucial early goal. Great surging runs. Unstoppable.

Hojbjerg 7

Now a key player for Mourinho. Holds Spurs together. Never gives an inch, so his manager loves him.

Moura 7

Movement and pace caused the Bees all kinds of problems. Popped up all over the place.

Ndombele 7

So busy. Works so hard, gets about the pitch and hard to shrug off the ball. Fine pass for the second goal. Hit post.

Son 8

Such great movement. Bees simply couldn’t handle him. Got back to defend as well. Brilliant second goal, sheer pace and class.

Kane 6

Quiet early on, dropped deep. Not one of his memorable nights – but Spurs had enough anyway.

Davies 6 (for Region, 74)

Winks 6 (for Moura, 74)

Tanganga 6 (for Hojberg, 86)

Alves Morais 6 (for Son, 89)
