Dele Alli has gone for a new style as he looks to reignite his Tottenham career under Ryan Mason following the departure of Jose Mourinho.
Despite their Carabao Cup final heartbreak against Manchester City on Sunday, Spurs players were in high spirits on Wednesday as their team-mate showed off his new look.
Forward Steven Bergwijn shared a Instagram story of Dele’s new hair, calling him as rockstar – with defender Serge Aurier saying: “@dele is back.”
Mason, who oversaw a Premier League victory over Southampton during his first fixture in charge, handed the 25-year-old a cameo outing at Wembley.
He had said before the encounter when asked about Dele: “I think the group, we've got 22 to 23 players as a whole, injured, not injured or fit and everyone has a key part to play in the next six games.
“The key thing is that everyone is working hard in training and everyone is giving their all so when called upon, if called upon, they're ready to compete and ready to fight for the team.
“I have to say that the attitude of the guys and the application in the last five or six days has been top.
“It's been top from everyone, so with that it gives decisions to make and who gives me the feeling of who should play, but that's the decision that I'll make and us as coaches will make.
“The most important thing is that the players are ready and they're competing.
“They're attitude is right and the application and that's all I can ask for.”
Having fallen out of form during Mauricio Pochettino’s final few months in charge, Dele could only show glimpses of his talent under Mourinho.
In total he managed 10 goals and 10 assists in 51 games under the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss, following 55 and 51 in 194 outings under Pochettino.
