The January transfer window is now just hours away, with teams having until the end of the month to get deals done.
Arsenal are expected to go after a new creative midfielder, with Mesut Ozil unlikely to play for the club again.
But teams are also set to use the window to plan for the summer, with mega money moves unlikely to happen immediately.
Instead, teams are set to plan for the summer and try to get pre-contract agreements in place with players who will be out of contract at the end of the season.
Daily Star Sport has been through the latest transfer rumours and given each a rating of how likely the deal is.
Today’s rumours that we rate
Arsenal want Brandt
Arsenal are apparently eager to sign Borussia Dortmund playmaker Julian Brandt as a long-term replacement for Ozil.
The German attacker, who plays in a number ten role, has already been watched by Arsenal scouts over a potential January bid.
The Gunners are set to look for a playmaker in January due to the situation regarding Ozil, and with questions over whether Emile Smith-Rowe is ready to be the club’s leading creative midfielder.

Lloris to PSG
Tottenham are apparently cautious that Hugo Lloris will push for a move to Paris Saint-Germain once the club confirms the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino.
Lloris has a good relationship with Pochettino stemming from their time together in north London.
And with the Argentine set to be confirmed as PSG’s new manager sooner rather than later, there are reports in The Sun that Spurs chiefs are concerned that Lloris will look for a move to the Parc des Princes.

Tottenham eye Henderson
Should Lloris go to PSG, or anywhere else for that matter, Tottenham are apparently looking at Manchester United’s Dean Henderson as a potential replacement.
Henderson signed a new long-term contract at the start of the season, and was said to have demanded first-team football.
The young goalkeeper has only started two Premier League games this season, and The Sun claims he is growing increasingly frustrated at his situation.

Today’s rumours that we don’t rate
Kane to City
Manchester City are reportedly planning to launch a £90m move for Tottenham star Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.
Pep Guardiola wants a replacement for Sergio Aguero, with the Argentine in the twilight of his career and suffering from injuries.
However, Erling Haaland has also been linked with the Etihad, and the 20-year-old – whose father played for City – would make a much more logical option long-term.
Kane is also enjoying a terrific season under Jose Mourinho’s leadership, and there’s no suggestion he’d want to pack things in at Tottenham – the club he adores.
Daily Star says: 4/10 – Highly unlikely
United want Grealish
Manchester United were linked with Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish during the previous transfer window, but opted against making a formal move.
They were said to have made Grealish their top target ahead of the window opening, but instead focused on Jadon Sancho – with no success there either.
Grealish went on to sign a new five-year contract worth a reported £120,000-per-week, while United forked out £40.5m for playmaker Donny van de Beek.
Now, however, he is apparently back in United’s sights, with the Daily Mail claiming they’re still interested.
Daily Star says: 2/10 – Incredibly improbable
Chelsea want Sancho
Chelsea are reportedly keen on taking advantage of United’s failure to sign Sancho in the previous transfer window.
The Blues spent £250m in the summer, signing a new front three of Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner for nearly £200m alone.
But according to CBS Sports, Chelsea have now turned their attention towards Sancho.
If he were to join, Chelsea would have Sancho, Werner, Ziyech, Havertz, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Olivier Giroud as their attacking options.
Daily Star says: 1/10 – Extremely implausible
