Naomi Osaka fined $15,000 for not doing French Open post-match press conference and threatened with disqualification

Naomi Osaka has been fined $15,000 for failing to conduct a press conference following her first-round victory at the French Open.

The four-time Grand Slam singles champion has also been warned that she could be defaulted from the Roland Garros tournament if she continues to skip her media obligations.

Osaka, 23, beat Romanian Patricia Maria Tig in the first round on Sunday.
