Bieber labels McGregor a ‘superhero’ after incredible UFC transformation

Justin Bieber has labelled UFC star Conor McGregor ‘a superhero’ after the bulky Irishman posted a family photo.

McGregor uploaded a picture with his fiancee Dee Devlin, son Conor Jr and daughter Croia after returning from his training camp to spend Christmas with his family in Ireland.

He also appeared to announce that he was expecting his third child, with Conor Jr holding up a baby scan.

According to pop star Bieber, the Instagram post proved McGregor is now ‘superdad’ after revealing his amazing frame.

“Bro, you literally look like a superhero,” Bieber said.

McGregor made a light-hearted reply to the Canadian, drawing a comparison with Spider-Man.

“Just your friendly neighbourhood JackedMan,” he said, putting his own spin on the Marvel character’s ‘friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man’ tagline.

It should come as no surprise that McGregor is in good shape, with the former two-division champion stepping up his preparations ahead of his UFC return.

The Irishman will face Dustin Poirier on January 23 in a rematch of the 2014 bout which McGregor won.

He recently gave fans an insight into his preparations, revealing his huge emphasis on sparring, having completed the equivalent of 15 UFC title fights in the run-up to his bout with Poirier.

This will be his first fight in 12 months, when he defeated Donald Cerrone at welterweight.

But when he takes on Poirier, the southpaw will move back down to the lightweight division, after dropping almost a stone in weight.

This division does not hold happy memories for McGregor as he was beaten by Khabib Nurmagomedov in his last fight at that weight in 2018.

In fact, McGregor has not won at lightweight since 2016, when he knocked out Eddie Alvarez.

The defeat of Alvarez meant he became the first man to hold two UFC titles at the same time, but he failed to defend either one.
