UFC Heavyweight Derrick Lewis knocked out a thief who tried to break into his SUV on Tuesday.
Lewis is widely expected to be next in line for a shot at Francis Ngannou's UFC Heavyweight Championship – after the promotion moved away from a Ngannou Jon Jones clash.
However, it wasn't Ngannou on the end of Lewis' right hand, instead, it was an unsuspecting thief who had tried to break into his SUV.
The 36-year-old proceeded to document the aftermath of the incident on his Instagram page, and he showed the Houston police putting the man in a police car and the scratch marks on his SUV.
In the video, Lewis said: "Motherf***** tried to break into my s***," and he captioned the post: "Mofo pick right/wrong car to break into. HE’S OK."
Lewis repeated the phrase "he's okay" in an Instagram story later on with a photo of his knuckled and the word "satisfaction" brandished across them.
ESPN Journalist, Ariel Helwani, later confirmed Lewis knocked the man out: "Derrick Lewis tells me he noticed a man trying to break into his SUV this morning. He knocked the man out. The police then apprehended him.
"I believe the correct thing to say here is, he’s ok," he shared on his Twitter page.
Lewis has won his last four bouts inside of the octagon, positioning himself in line for a title shot.
The Black Beast has the most knockouts in the heavyweight division, and he could tie the record – at 12 – should he drop the champ if they meet.
