Former Real Madrid and Chelsea star Eden Hazard has dropped a hint that retirement is edging closer in a new documentary series on the Belgian national team.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hazard was released by Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer after making just 76 appearances across four seasons at the club.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Real bought the winger from Chelsea for an initial fee of \u00a389m rising to a potential \u00a3150m, but his spell in Spain was plagued with injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After scoring just seven goals for the club, Hazard now finds himself without a club at the age of 32.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And in a soon-to-be-released documentary about the Red Devils called ‘Believe’, the Belgian seemed to suggest retiring was his next move insisting: ‘it’s time to enjoy life by drinking a few beers.’<\/p>\n

Eden Hazard struggled for form during his time in Spain, scoring just seven goals for the club<\/p>\n

The Belgian had an electric seven years at Chelsea, winning the PFA Player of the Year in 2015<\/p>\n
The docu-series follows the day-to-day life of the Belgian national team through various players, including Johan Bakayoko, Amadou Onana, Jan Vertonghen and Hazard himself.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The winger did reportedly have\u00a0some English clubs interested in him after leaving Madrid, but concerns about his fitness seemed to be a major barrier.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Belgian winger suffered 18 seperate injuries during his spell in the Spanish capital, ruling him out of 95 games for club and country.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This was a complete contradiction to his time at Chelsea, where the Belgian was rarely injured and knotched 110 goals and 92 assists in 352 appearances for the Blues.<\/p>\n
Hazard won the Premier League twice and the PFA Player of the Year award at Chelsea, but also secured two La Liga titles and the Champions League with Real Madrid.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He retired from international duty after Belgium crashed out of the group stages at the Qatar World Cup and looks to be following the same route with his club career.\u00a0<\/p>\n
