Dimitar Berbatov has defended Arsenal and Manchester United fans for being the \u2018worst\u2019 at leaving Premier League matches early. Supporters from both teams headed for the exit early on Sunday, missing an incredible conclusion to their match at the Emirates Stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n
United starlet Alejandro Garnacho raced through on goal and coolly finished beyond Aaron Ramsdale in the 89th minute of the match. It prompted a stream of Arsenal supporters heading for the exits.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, a lengthy VAR check found that the teenager had strayed just offside and disallowed the goal. Embarrassed fans headed back for their seats but likely missed Arsenal\u2019s two stoppage-time goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n
First, Declan Rice put Arsenal ahead, before Gabriel Jesus made it 3-1. According to a survey by YouGov, Arsenal and United fans are actually the worst supporters for leaving matches prematurely.\u00a0<\/p>\n

You want to beat traffic but sometimes you can miss goals after 90 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n Completing the top six in the table for early-leaving supporters are Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Everton. Wolves, Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest are among the likeliest to stay until the final whistle, the data suggests.\u00a0<\/p>\n United boss Erik ten Hag believes the fans who stayed to see his side downed by Arsenal should instead have seen a Red Devils victory.
