reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 16-year-old made eight appearances in the Croatian top flight last season and has been chased by teams around Europe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vuskovic helped Hajduk win the Croatian Cup and became the club&#8217;s youngest-ever goalscorer after finding the net just days after his 16th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>Fabrizio Romano has reported that the defender has agreed on a move to North London on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He posted on X (formerly Twitter): &#8216;Tottenham are on the verge of signing Croatian top talent Luka Vuskovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/10\/19\/75270655-0-image-a-1_1694369661378.jpg\" height=\"949\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tottenham are on the verge of signing 16-year-old Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic from Hajduk Split<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/10\/19\/75271125-0-image-m-22_1694370457881.jpg\" height=\"424\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Vuskovic broke into the Hajduk first team last season and also Spurs \u2014 despite interest from 5 more top clubs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Personal terms agreed, clubs finalising paperwork.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle had all previously shown an interest in Vuskovic but it appears Ange Postecoglou&#8217;s side have won the race for his signature.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Manchester City were also keen to sign the defender, who captained the Hajduk U19 team to the final of the UEFA Youth League last season alongside his first team commitments.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It is not yet clear when he will officially join Spurs yet he is set to be the next exciting Micky Van de Ven thrive in a new-look defence<\/p>\n<p>Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, left-back Destiny Udogie and central defender Micky Van de Ven have all impressed in the first weeks of their debut campaigns in the Premier League.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Experienced players such as former captain Hugo Lloris and England international Eric Dier are yet to make an appearance this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The new additions have helped Spurs to an unbeaten start to the Premier League season, leaving Postecoglou&#8217;s men second in the early league standings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They return to action after the
