Ex-Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell slammed James Maddison and called the Tottenham Hotspur ace \u2018chippy\u2019 after his comments about Bukayo Saka copying his darts celebration.<\/p>\n

A chaotic North London Derby saw Spurs twice equalise in the 2-2 draw, with Saka\u2019s shot deflected in by Cristian Romero for the opening goal before he scored from the spot in the second-half, while Maddison assisted both of Son Heung-min\u2019s goal in personal games for the pair to remember.<\/p>\n

Amid the drama, Saka\u2019s celebrations caught the eye with the Gunners\u2019 winger mimicking Maddison\u2019s darts throwing celebration after both of Arsenal\u2019s goals.<\/p>\n

Maddison brutally quipped at Saka when he was asked for his thoughts on Saka taking a leaf out of his book and performing a dart throwing celebration, the Spurs ace said: "Me and Bukayo had a bit of banter and a bit of trash talking, if you like, on international duty. <\/p>\n

\u201cI got told he did the darts celebration. He must have still been doing it when I turned him for the first goal, so I'll have a little word with him in there.\u201d Maddison was referencing Son\u2019s opener which saw him drop his shoulder and leave Saka for dead on the wing before cutting the ball back to the South Korean who steered home via the post.<\/p>\n

Campbell slammed Maddison\u2019s reaction to England team-mate Saka mimicking his celebration, suggesting Maddison was being cocky in his response, Campbell said: \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with it? And by the way, James Maddison, I did the darts celebration years ago, so I don\u2019t want James Maddison to think he\u2019s the first one to do a darts celebration.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I\u2019m saying is, why can\u2019t Saka do it? What\u2019s wrong with him doing it? He did the same thing Rashford did, didn\u2019t he? This is James Maddison being a bit chippy. And it\u2019s to a mate. It\u2019s alright, it\u2019s no big deal. But if anyone\u2019s got a problem with it, Saka, keep doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maddison and Saka\u2019s dart-off could only be just beginning after the Spurs playmaker and arrows superfan was asked by a Sky Sports reporter whether he would take on Saka at Alexandra Palace during the World Championships, Maddison chuckled before replying: \u201cHis action was terrible though wasn\u2019t it?\u201d<\/p>\n
