NASCAR Truck driver Nick Sanchez was left bloodied and was forced to be restrained after an altercation with fellow driver\u00a0Matt Crafton\u00a0at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon. The pair came to blows after a crash which involved the two drivers during the race.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred after Sanchez attempted to climb to the front of the NASCAR Truck pack and slammed into\u00a0Crafton on lap 93. The nose of Sanchez’s truck hit into the middle of his competitor’s vehicle, causing him to spin off the track.<\/p>\n
Several other trucks were also involved in the collision causing the red flag to be shown. Crafton’s race ended there, seeing him finish in 24th place.<\/p>\n
Sanchez went on to end the race in seventh, finishing\u00a0three points off the playoff cutline ahead of the\u00a0Homestead-Miami Speedway\u00a0elimination race next in the final race of the round of eight. However, he also ended the day with a cut face after a scuffle in the garage area.<\/p>\n
Footage via\u00a0Frontstretch\u00a0showed the aftermath of the altercation where a furious Sanchez can be seen being restrained while covered in blood. The driver is heard shouting:\u00a0“I\u2019m gonna f***ing kill you in Homestead! You f***ed with the wrong guy mother****er.”<\/p>\n
After the fight Sanchez addressed the incident to reporters.\u00a0\u201cI was walking back to the hauler, tap on my back, got punched in the face,” he said sporting a nasty cut above his eye.<\/p>\n
\u201cCheap shot, but it is what it is, I guess. I\u2019m all for fighting, but no cheap shots. He got a cheap shot, [I] didn\u2019t really have a chance to get him back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Don’t miss… <\/strong> Before the fight Sanchez revealed what caused the crash earlier in the race.\u00a0\u201cI was doing my best to stay tight on the bottom lane,\u201d Sanchez said.\u00a0 \u201cTried to go get split three-wide.<\/p>\n “We came up off of [turn] 2, I went to the top lane and I held my line, came back down.
