    Days after Darren England was caught up at the centre of the VAR storm – a book he features in is about to hit the shelves.<\/p>\n

    The Football School Encyclopedia is out on Thursday just five days after he and his assistant Dan Cook missed a flag from the linesman and failed to overturn an incorrect decision. The PGMOL have since released the audio and removed the duo from upcoming weekend fixtures as Jurgen Klopp calls for a replay. <\/p>\n

    Following the news that the 37-year-old is set to feature in a new book in the wake of the biggest blunder in Premier League history, one social media user said: "The geezer\u2019s got a book coming out this week? nah absolute marketing genius." <\/p>\n

    Not realising the book isn't his own, a second added: "He\u2019s actually a genius." A third laughed: "This is begging for a 'just days after' line."<\/p>\n

    During the short Q&A he supplied for the book, England was asked what the most difficult part of his job.<\/p>\n

    He replied: "Making sure you do not make a mistake that impacts the outcome of the match. This is the worst thing for us."<\/p>\n

    England will not be losing his job due to the incident that took place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, which came days after he officiated in the UAE, a process which is now under review. <\/p>\n

    The 37-year-old was added to the 2022 FIFA List of International Match Officials in 2021, having previously spent time in the Football League.<\/p>\n

    The report adds that England has lost match fees in the region of \u00a31,200 following the incident – on top of a FIFA basic salary of around \u00a3150,000-per-year.<\/p>\n
