That could have been a real problem.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal have not beaten Manchester City in the Premier League since 2015, with today&#8217;s victory marking a historical three points for the North London side.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The atmosphere here is special. I&#8217;ve criticised them for over-celebrating, not today. That&#8217;s a big moment for them. They had to beat Manchester City today.&#8217; Neville said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;No Rodri, no De Bruyne. You&#8217;ll never get a better chance. Beaten at\u00a0Wolves\u00a0last week. And it was scruffy, it went 12 rounds. But they&#8217;ve got through it. A long, long way to go. But it&#8217;ll give them so much confidence.<\/p>\n<p>Former Arsenal star and previously-retired Theo Walcott acknowledged the importance of the game.\u00a0 Walcott said: &#8216;We were saying at the start of today, how important this was. Arsenal today, we&#8217;ve got to focus on Arsenal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As a defensive unit, they were very organised. The attacking, they seemed to have forgotten to do that in the week maybe! But Mikel [Arteta] won&#8217;t care. It&#8217;s a fantastic result. That just shows how important that victory is right now.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;When it comes down to fine margins at the end of the season, every point in the early stage of the season always matters.
