with the ex-Chelsea and Newcastle star hanging up his boots having played for 14 different clubs<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Former Premier League striker who represented four clubs has retired aged 36<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>The striker won the Premier League and a League cup whilst playing for Chelsea<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Listen to the latest episode of Mail Sport&#8217;s podcast &#8216;It&#8217;s All Kicking Off!&#8217;\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A former Premier League striker has announced his retirement from football at the age of 36, after finishing his career with Ligue 1 Brest last season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The forward played for four different Premier League sides during a five-year spell in England&#8217;s top flight but is probably most remembered for his time at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n<p>At Chelsea the Frenchman won the Premier League and League Cup in 2015 and scored 12 goals in 47 appearances for the Blues.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He also represented Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle and Crystal Palace before moving to Las Palmas in 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now, having finished his career back in France with Brest, Loic Remy has decided to call time on his football career.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/09\/15\/76339659-12610921-image-a-77_1696860098136.jpg\" height=\"465\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Former France striker Loic Remy has announced his retirement from football at the age of 36\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/09\/15\/76339671-12610921-image-m-79_1696860105424.jpg\" height=\"431\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Remy won a Premier League title and the League Cup in a two-season spell with Chelsea\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/09\/15\/76339691-12610921-image-m-81_1696860118789.jpg\" height=\"377\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The French striker arrived in England by signing for Harry Redknapp&#8217;s QPR in January 2013\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Remy started his career at Lyon before making his name at Nice and then Marseille, where he scored a career high of 20 in the 2011-12 season in Ligue 1.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the 2013 January transfer window, Remy signed for struggling QPR under Harry Redknapp after agreeing to sign for the club during a game of FIFA 12 with owner Tony Fernandes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Despite scoring on his debut for the R&#8217;s and netting a goal of the season contender against Wigan, he couldn&#8217;t prevent the club&#8217;s relegation and joined Newcastle on a season-long loan the following campaign.<\/p>\n<p>His 14 goals for the Magpies that season then prompted Chelsea to sign the Frenchman on a permanent deal in the summer of 2014 and he went on to win the Premier League title with Jose Mourinho&#8217;s side, along with a League Cup medal &#8211;
