{"id":292513,"date":"2023-10-21T09:24:48","date_gmt":"2023-10-21T09:24:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportstoft.com\/?p=292513"},"modified":"2023-10-21T09:24:48","modified_gmt":"2023-10-21T09:24:48","slug":"fury-targets-10-more-fights-after-francis-ngannou-and-oleksandr-usyk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportstoft.com\/boxing\/fury-targets-10-more-fights-after-francis-ngannou-and-oleksandr-usyk\/","title":{"rendered":"Fury targets 10 MORE fights after Francis Ngannou and Oleksandr Usyk"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Tyson Fury targets 10 MORE fights after Francis Ngannou and Oleksandr Usyk showdowns &#8211; with the heavyweight champion insistent he&#8217;d be &#8216;stupid&#8217; to walk away from the sport that makes him &#8216;f***ing happy&#8217; and earns him &#8216;millions&#8217;<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Tyson Fury is set to contest two heavyweight bouts in the next few months\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>First is an exhibition against ex-UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Before the much-awaited clash with Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed crown\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tyson Fury has dispelled fears that upcoming bouts against Francis Ngannou and Oleksandr Usyk will be his last.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old is set to meet the former UFC heavyweight champion in\u00a0Saudi Arabia on October 28, just over a year after annoucing his second retirement from the sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That hiatus lasted only four months before he returned to fight\u00a0Derek Chisora in December 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fury has now not only revealed that he has no intention of slowing down but in fact is targeting a multi-fight deal after the much-anticipated bouts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I\u2019m looking to sign another 10-fight deal after this,&#8217; he told ESPN. &#8216;So I don\u2019t know, I\u2019m going to put my feelers out there and see who I can get the best deal off for another 10 fights.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/21\/09\/76831653-12656185-image-a-1_1697876637544.jpg\" height=\"421\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Gypsy King arrived in Saudi Arabia on October 17 ahead of the giant cross-over fight<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/21\/09\/76831611-12656185-image-a-2_1697876648382.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Former UFC champions Francis Ngannou will be looking to cause a massive upset next week<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/21\/09\/76831613-12656185-image-a-3_1697876651648.jpg\" height=\"422\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Fury then puts his belt on the line against WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight champion Usyk<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;What else is there? I retire, plenty of money, plenty of achievement, whatever \u2014 35 [years old]. What am I going to do? This makes me f***ing happy fighting.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;This is all I\u2019ve ever done and all that\u2019s ever made me happy. So it\u2019d be stupid now to walk away from it when I\u2019m making millions of dollars and getting loads of joy from it as well.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Before Fury can start making future plans he has two eagerly-awaited fights to see to. The first, against Ngannou &#8211; who will be making his professional debut in a boxing match &#8211; will open\u00a0Riyadh Season next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The contest dubbed &#8216;Battle of the Baddest&#8217;, will be an exhibition and will not count to either fighter&#8217;s official records.
