Sir Jim Ratcliffe will reportedly not stand in the way if Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag decides to offload Jadon Sancho. Sancho hasn’t featured for the Red Devils since August following a public falling out with Ten Hag and has been exiled away from the first team.

Sancho featured in United’s first three Premier League matches of the season as a second half substitute but was then dropped from the matchday squad when the Red Devils travelled to Arsenal at the start of September.

Ten Hag told reporters that Sancho’s exclusion was down to his performances in training, with the player then hitting back at his boss in a social media post. And the winger has reportedly been told he won’t be welcomed back into the squad until he apologises to Ten Hag.

According to 90Min, United are now accepting that Sancho will leave the club in January. There had been rumours that Ratcliffe could have a say on Sancho’s future if he completes a deal to buy a 25 per cent stake of the club for £1.4billion. But Ratcliffe has been a huge fan of Ten Hag since the Dutchman was in charge of Ajax and will allow the manager to make his own decisions about players if he does in fact come on board.
