Man City\u00a0are going to end up in the National League North if the Premier League get their way!!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>He questioned why news around Manchester City&#8217;s investigation had gone quiet while Everton have faced more publicity around their alleged breaches.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Unbelievable the amount of stories that come out about Everton\u2019s situation, but Man City\u2019s, which has 114 more charges and has gone on for much longer, has gone very quiet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Everton are currently 16th in the league after seven points from nine games and would drop to minus five points, leaving them with a major uphill task to stay in the league.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/25\/16\/67372055-12671393-If_found_guilty_Man_City_could_face_a_points_deduction_or_expuls-a-22_1698246383512.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>If found guilty, Man City (Erling Haaland pictured) could face a points deduction or expulsion<\/p>\n<p>The club have strongly denied any wrongdoing, and believe they will be cleared as they claim they received allowances from the Premier League due to the financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Man City, meanwhile, are facing a number of charges relating to\u00a0financial information regarding revenue, details of manager and player remuneration, UEFA regulations, profitability and sustainability and co-operation with Premier League investigations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After the news surfaced in February, a statement from the league said alleged breaches were committed from September 2009 to the 2017-18 season, with an independent commission set to take the case further.<\/p>\n<p>However, it could take years for the commission to come to a conclusion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the time, City &#8211; who were served legal papers on the same day the charges were announced by the Premier League &#8211; said they were &#8216;surprised&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/25\/16\/67372059-12671393-City_s_owner_Sheikh_Mansour_left_speaking_with_club_chairman_Kha-a-23_1698246568101.jpg\" height=\"450\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>City are accused of breaching financial rules more than 100 times in nine seasons (Sheikh Mansour pictured speaking with chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The Club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position,&#8217; it said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Back then Carragher had reacted sarcastically to the news, writing on X: &#8216;This can&#8217;t be right, Man City bring in more commercial revenue than Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Man Utd &amp; Liverpool.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He later claimed winning the Treble would be &#8216;worthless&#8217; if they were found guilty of any of the alleged charges.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to a fan&#8217;s post goading Carragher for suggesting Erling Haaland may have chosen the wrong team, he replied: &#8216;Hopefully you don&#8217;t get a guilty with any of those 115 charges which will make it all worthless!&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>List of charges against Man City\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>Details of the Premier League Rules that the Man City is alleged to have breached are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1. In respect of each of Seasons 2009\/10 to 2017\/18 inclusive, the Premier League Rules applicable in those seasons that required provision by a member club to the Premier League, in the utmost good faith, of accurate financial information that gives a true and fair view of the club&#8217;s financial position, in particular with respect to its revenue (including sponsorship revenue), its related parties and its operating costs, namely:<\/p>\n<p>(a) for Season 2009\/10, Premier League Rules B.13, C.71, C.72, C.75 (amended to C.79 from 10 September 2009 for the remainder of Season 2009\/10) and C.80;<\/p>\n<p>(b) for Season 2010\/11, Premier League Rules B.13, C.78, C.79, C.86 and C.87;<\/p>\n<p>(c) for Season 2011\/12, Premier League Rules B.13, E.3, 4, E.11 and E.12;<\/p>\n<p>(d) for Season 2012\/13, Premier League Rules 16, E.3, E.4, E.11 and E.12;<\/p>\n<p>(e) for Season 2013\/14, Premier League Rules 15, E.3, E.4, E.11, E.12 and E.49;<\/p>\n<p>(f) for Season 2014\/15, Premier League Rules 16, E.3, E.4, E.11, E.12 and E.50;<\/p>\n<p>(g) for Season 2015\/16, Premier League Rules 16, E.3, E.4, E.11, E.12 and E.50;<\/p>\n<p>(h) for Season 2016\/17, Premier League Rules16, E.3, E.4, E.11, E.12 and E.51; and<\/p>\n<p>(i) for Season 2017\/18, Premier League Rules B.16, 3, E.4, E.11, E.12 and E.51.<\/p>\n<p>2. In respect of:<\/p>\n<p>(a) each of Seasons 2009\/10 to 2012\/13 inclusive, the Premier League Rules applicable in those Seasons requiring a member club to include full details of manager remuneration in its relevant contracts with its manager, namely:<\/p>\n<p>(1) for Seasons 2009\/10 to 2011\/12 inclusive, Premier League Rules Q.7 and Q.8; and<\/p>\n<p>(2) for Season 2012\/13, Premier League Rules P.7 and P.8; and<\/p>\n<p>(b) each of Seasons 2010\/11 to 2015\/16 inclusive, the Premier League Rules applicable in those Seasons requiring a member club to include full details of player remuneration in its relevant contracts with its players, namely:<\/p>\n<p>(1) for Seasons 2010\/11 and 2011\/12, Premier League Rules K.12 and K.20;<\/p>\n<p>(2) for Season 2012\/13, Premier League Rules T.12 and T.20;<\/p>\n<p>(3) for Seasons 2013\/14 and 2014\/15, Premier League Rules T.12 and T.19; and<\/p>\n<p>(4) for Season 2015\/16, Premier League Rules T.13 and T.20.<\/p>\n<p>3. In respect of each of Seasons 2013\/14 to 2017\/18 inclusive, the Premier League Rules applicable in those Seasons requiring a member club to comply with UEFA&#8217;s regulations, including UEFA&#8217;s Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, namely:<\/p>\n<p>(a) for Season 2013\/14, Premier League Rule B.14.6; and<\/p>\n<p>(b) for Seasons 2014\/15 to 2017\/18 inclusive, Premier League Rule B.15.6.<\/p>\n<p>4. In respect of each of the Seasons 2015\/16 to 2017\/18 inclusive, the Premier League Rules applicable in those Seasons on Profitability and Sustainability, namely:<\/p>\n<p>(a) for Season 2015\/16, Premier League Rules E.52 to E.60; and<\/p>\n<p>(b) for Seasons 2016\/17 and 2017\/18, Premier League Rules E.53 to E.60.<\/p>\n<p>5.
