Tyson Fury is returning to the boxing ring against MMA superstar Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening. It will be boxing’s lineal heavyweight champion against the former UFC heavyweight champion with Ngannou making his professional boxing debut in what will be the by far the biggest payday of his career.

Fury revealed earlier this week that there is a rematch clause between the two, meaning if Ngannou shocks the world and knocks the Gypsy King out then he is not entitled to a chance at avenging his defeat.

However, Ngannou will not be able to walk away with Fury’s WBC belt, with the championship not on the line for the fight – which is reserved for his upcoming fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

Those two men will return to the same venue on December 23 to face each other to unify the heavyweight championship belts, with Usyk holding four of them after defeating Anthony Joshua.

But Fury has already admitted he is not even thinking about Usyk at this point, after going through a 12-week training camp in preparation for his upcoming bout with Ngannou.

The former heavyweight champion, who is often regarded as the heaviest puncher in combat sports, walked away from the UFC after failing to agree contract terms, has recently signed with the PFL – while also wanting to pursue his options in boxing.

Ngannou has already mentioned Anthony Joshua as future opponent, even if he loses to Fury this weekend.
