The Hollywood star is the narrator in a new four-part series called &#8216;Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The series looks back at how Ross Brawn&#8217;s team overcame enormous odds to win the 2009 Championship with Jenson Button. It dives into Honda\u2019s attempts to find a work team in 2008. And how before Brawn took over the team for a single Great British Pound, Honda wanted to end things due to their struggle to find a suitable buyer.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the series is expected to reveal some of the most sensitive issues that surrounded Brawn as he rose to fame. Disney+ also assured fans it received access to the F1 archives, providing fans with rare behind-the-scenes footage.<\/p>\n<p>Due to Brawn&#8217;s success, a rivalry was formed between his team and Scuderia, which led to legal disputes. Brawn\u2019s team emerged victorious when Button produced the greatest comeback in Formula One history. Fans have been given a behind-the-scenes look at the increasingly growing sport but also how Brawn and his team defied all odds to reach the top.<\/p>\n<p>For Reeves, this project is different from what he is used to. The Canadian actor has been a hit in Hollywood due to his performances in action movies such as The Matrix and John Wick. He said: &#8220;A friend of mine was telling me the story (about Brawn) and I was so struck by it. He (my friend) was actually working for Brawn back in the day in publicity. He\u2019s a producer\/director and so we were like \u2018Well let\u2019s tell that story, let\u2019s try to tell that story.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say: &#8220;It\u2019s been really great to be able to learn more about what was going on in Formula One that year. It wasn\u2019t just the cars, new regulations, FOTA [the Formula One Teams Association] breakaway series.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I mean there was just so much happening in Formula One at that time. The world of F1 was just extraordinary.
