staff is rushed to hospital with a medical emergency<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><b>The young Foxes were hosting Newcastle at the Leicester\u00a0City&#8217;s Training Ground\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Play was halted with the side&#8217;s drawing 2-2 following the medical emergency<\/b><\/li>\n<li><strong>Listen to the latest episode of Mail Sport&#8217;s podcast It&#8217;s All Kicking Off!\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Leicester City and Newcastle abandoned their Premier League 2 clash on Friday after a member of the home team&#8217;s staff was rushed to the hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The sides were contesting an entertaining 2-2 draw when play was halted and medical assistance was provided to the individual.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Foxes confirmed that the tie has been abandoned shortly after and revealed their staff member had been transferred to a hospital as they awaited &#8216;further updates on his condition.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The club was able to announce the good news of his release a short time later. &#8216;\u00a0We are pleased to report that, following examination by on-site medics, the staff member has been released from observation to recover at home.&#8217;
