Newcastle fans had no chance but to concede after Borussia Dortmund trolled the Premier League club in style after they lost 2-0 in the Champions League.<\/p>\n
The Magpies suffered their second consecutive defeat in the European competition on Tuesday (November 7) after goals from Niclas Fullkrug and Julian Brandt left Newcastle with a lot to do if they want to qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament.<\/p>\n
Following the defeat, the X admin of the Bundesliga outfit decided to twist the knife in by trolling their opponents with a clip from Newcastle-based show Geordie Shore where one of the former main stars, Scotty T, said: "We're having a rag time in Amsterdam, I've always wanted to come to Germany." The caption of the witty post read: "Hope Germany was a rag time, Scotty".<\/p>\n

While the fun was being had at the expense of Newcastle fans, some of the supporters couldn't help but laugh at the hilarious troll as one Magpies fan wrote: "f*** sake I can\u2019t even be mad" while another plainly said: "fair play". A third fan praised the admin calling him "class" while a fourth even insisted: "Give this admin a pay rise".<\/p>\n
The 2-0 defeat in Germany has condemned Newcastle to rock bottom in Group F with a must-win game away to Paris Saint-Germain up next for the Premier League side. Eddie Howe admitted his team weren't at their best and Joelinton's gilt-edged chance in the first half could have made the difference in the game.<\/p>\n

"The intensity and quality of our normal game was missing," the Newcastle boss said. "We still had our moments and Joelinton's header is probably the key moment in the game from our perspective. He would back himself to score that if it came in again."<\/p>\n
Aside from the result, the game was briefly stopped in the second half after fake golden bars and other objects were thrown onto the pitch by Dortmund fans as a protest against UEFA's proposed Champions League reforms with one banner across the 'Yellow Wall' reading: "You don't care about the sport – all you care about is money."<\/p>\n
