The Premier League is set to trial bodycams during Wolves' clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon. <\/p>\n
One player from each team will be allowed to wear a bodycam during the warmup for the game, according to the Daily Mail, with IFAB laws forbidding the technology to be allowed during the actual clash.<\/p>\n
"Finding new ways to bring our fans closer to the action on the pitch is a key focus for us," Premier League Head of Media Operations and Innovation, Rachael Nightingale, said. <\/p>\n

Aston Villa and Newcastle trialed the technology over the summer, allowing fans to get a new perspective of the game with the technology. The camera is stitched to a GPS vest under the shirt, and a small hole is then cut in the jersey. <\/p>\n

A wide angle view of the pitch is captured on the camera, and that is then cropped using AI auto-detection technology before it is uploaded. TNT Sports will be able to use the footage in the build-up to the clash.<\/p>\n
