It&#8217;s All Coming Up<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Former Liverpool star turned TV pundit Dietmar Hamann has admitted he &#8216;could have done without criticism&#8217; from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after the pair had a fall out last season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Klopp&#8217;s Liverpool endured a frustrating 22-23 campaign, finishing outside the Champions League qualification spots in fifth &#8211; four points away from Newcastle in fourth.<\/p>\n<p>He faced pressure during some difficult periods throughout the season, particularly from some of Liverpool&#8217;s former players.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One of these players was 2005 Champions League winner Hamann, who\u00a0suggested that pressure was building on Klopp as his side lacked &#8216;spark&#8217;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This was in response to the Reds 3-2 loss to Arsenal in October that saw them fall as far as 14 points behind the Gunners who sat top of the league at that point, before letting their lead fall away and eventually finishing behind Manchester City.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/11\/00\/77671605-12736503-image-a-30_1699661981644.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann criticised Klopp&#8217;s side last year during a difficult spell<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/11\/00\/77671619-12736503-image-a-39_1699662677982.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Klopp struck back in a spiky press conference, questioning Hamann&#8217;s credentials as a pundit<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Klopp reacted to Hamann&#8217;s words in a spiky press conference, questioning the former Germany midfielder&#8217;s credentials as a pundit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When Klopp was asked about a comment made by Hamann, he replied: &#8216;Who said that? Oh great! A fantastic source, well respected everywhere.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>He added. &#8216;Hamann played for Liverpool [but] that does not give you the right to say what you want especially when you have no idea.
