Erik ten Hag has again backed Marcus Rashford to come good despite the Manchester United star’s poor start to the season.<\/p>\n
Rashford finished as United’s top scorer with 30 goals last season, and was rewarded with a new \u00a3300,000-a-week contract in the summer.<\/p>\n
But he has found the net just once in 15 games this term, and hit a new low in Denmark on Wednesday night when he was sent off in United’s Champions League defeat to FC Copenhagen.<\/p>\n
But Ten Hag once again threw his support behind the misfiring forward, and insisted that Rashford will rediscover top form.<\/p>\n
‘I think he is not happy, and we are not happy,’ said the United boss. ‘He has high expectations for himself and in this moment he is not in his best form.<\/p>\n
