Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly set to battle it out to sign Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies. However, the Premier League outfits may need to convince the left-back to make the move to England, with other European giants also interested. And the trio are all said to believe Davies has already decided on his next club.

Davies has consistently been one of the most impressive full-backs in Europe since joining Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018. He has made 171 appearances for the club and won 13 trophies during his time at the Allianz Arena.

Having asserted himself as one of the best in the business, clubs are queuing up to try and acquire his services. Bayern chiefs have continued to reiterate that Davies is not for sale, though several sides are keen to test their resolve.

According to 90min, Chelsea, City and Liverpool are interested in signing the Canada international and are all respectively weighing up whether to table an offer for his services. Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be in the running, despite recently signing Lucas Hernandez.

The fee involved in signing Davies is expected to be a major sticking point if any of the clubs make the decision to pursue him vigorously as it is unclear what sort of figure the Bundesliga giants will demand for them to alter their stance and reluctantly part ways with their full-back.

And it is reported that the interest from Real Madrid is also a key factor. The quartet of aforementioned clubs are convinced that the 23-year-old wants to head to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer. Los Blancos are long-term admirers of Davies and are questioning whether they need to sign the pacey full-back or if they should continue to put their faith in Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy.
