Britain’s Joe Salisbury and America’s\u00a0Rajeev Ram defended their ATP Finals doubles title as they overcame Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.<\/p>\n
Salisbury and Ram prevailed in straight sets in Italy as they won 6-3, 6-4.<\/p>\n
The Anglo-American duo are the first successive champions since 2017, when Henri Kontinen and John Peers retained their title.<\/p>\n
Salisbury stated it was an ‘incredible’ feeling to achieve such success.<\/p>\n
As reported by BBC Sport, Salisbury said:\u00a0‘There is something very special about this place.<\/p>\n

The Anglo-American duo overcame Marcel Granollers (L) and Horacio Zeballos (R)<\/p>\n
‘I feel so lucky to be playing here and to have the success we have had in Turin is incredible.’<\/p>\n
Although they faced a break point in their opening service game, Salisbury and Ram managed to establish a 3-1 lead and proceeded to win the first set.<\/p>\n
They were made to wait for victory in the second set but eventually managed to prevail.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It is the tenth successive time that Salisbury and Ram have won a match at the tournament.<\/p>\n
In last year’s final they got the better of Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic.\u00a0<\/p>\n
