He\u2019s been the best since Brian Clough &#8211; It&#8217;s All Kicking Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A number of Premier League clubs are monitoring Mason Greenwood&#8217;s performances at Getafe, according to reports in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>The 22-year-old was arrested on charges of attempted rape and assault in January 2022 and was suspended while on full pay by Manchester United.<\/p>\n<p>The charges, however, were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service\u00a0in February after &#8216;key witnesses&#8217; withdrew their involvement.<\/p>\n<p>Following a drawn-out internal investigation, United announced in August that Greenwood would not play for them as they were prioritising the &#8216;welfare, wishes and perspective&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The England international\u00a0sealed a loan move to Getafe\u00a0the following month and has attracted interest from a number of English teams.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/29\/13\/78372877-0-image-a-26_1701265670514.jpg\" height=\"435\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Premier League clubs are monitoring Mason Greenwood&#8217;s performances at Getafe<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/29\/13\/78373029-0-image-a-29_1701265818705.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Greenwood was suspended by Manchester United in January 2022 after being arrested on suspicion of rape and assault. The charges were dropped in February this year<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>According to Spanish outlet AS, several scouts from Premier League clubs have watched Greenwood in action at the Estadio Coliseum.<\/p>\n<p>No Premier League club showed interest in Greenwood in the summer, but he attracted enquiries from clubs in Italy and Turkey.<\/p>\n<p>The forward has scored four goals and provided three assists in 11 games for Getafe across all competitions, helping the Azulones up to eight place in LaLiga with 19 points in 14 games.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Greenwood scored with a spectacular effort from outside the box to level the score against Almeria in Getafe&#8217;s 2-1 win.<\/p>\n<p>And Getafe\u00a0<span>are<\/span>\u00a0interested in extending his stay<span>\u00a0in Spain, by\u00a0either securing a longer loan deal or signing him permanently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Earlier this month, it was reported\u00a0Getafe executives were eager to open negotiations with United to prolong Greenwood&#8217;s spell with the club. According to The Athletic, a meeting between Getafe and United has been pencilled in for April.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/29\/13\/78372871-0-image-a-27_1701265675757.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The 22-year-old has scored four goals in 11 games for the LaLiga outfit this season<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/29\/13\/78372857-0-image-a-28_1701265680861.jpg\" height=\"437\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Greenwood&#8217;s most recent goal came in the 2-1 win against Almeria on Saturday (above)<\/p>\n<p><span>But according to The Sun, Getafe could face competition from Valencia and Real Sociedad, who are both keeping tabs on the United loanee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Greenwood&#8217;s \u00a375,000-a-week &#8211;
