Neymar\u00a0posed for a selfie as he cheered on Al-Hilal while recovering from surgery on an anterior cruciate injury that is preventing him from playing from the Saudi side.<\/p>\n
The Brazilian joined the Saudi side in the summer after calling time on European football and deciding to leave Paris Saint-Germain in a \u00a378m summer deal.<\/p>\n
However, his time in the oil-rich nation has so far been thwarted by injury with Neymar so far making only five appearances for the Saudi side.<\/p>\n
Neymar suffered a serious injury while on international duty with Brazil in October and subsequently had to undergo surgery on the knee problem.<\/p>\n
He is expected to miss the remainder of the season, but is still showing his public support for the Saudi Pro League leaders from the sanctuary of his own home.<\/p>\n

Al-Hilal starred in their top of the table clash with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, winning 3-0 courtesy of goals from\u00a0Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and\u00a0Aleksandar Mitrovic.<\/p>\n
The Saud top-flight leaders cemented a seven-point lead over Al-Nassr as a result, putting them in a strong position for the league title.<\/p>\n

Neymar has so far managed just five appearances for Al-Hilal since joining the club<\/p>\n
Neymar is likely to miss the remainder of the season while he undergoes a lengthy rehabilitation period following the knee injury that occurred in Brazil’s recent defeat against Uruguay.<\/p>\n
At the time of his latest problem, Neymar posted on his Instagram:\u00a0‘It’s a very sad time, the worst.<\/p>\n
‘I know I’m strong but this time I’m going to need my family and friends even more.<\/p>\n
‘It’s not easy to go through injury and surgery. Imagine going through it all again after four months of recovery.’<\/p>\n
