Erik ten Hag believes Manchester United have overcome their rocky start to the season, but has warned his players not to become complacent in a Premier League where ‘everyone kills everyone’.<\/p>\n
United’s win over Chelsea in midweek put them just three points behind reigning champions Manchester City despite a turbulent few months at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
Ten Hag feels his team have weathered their injury problems and some setbacks with refereeing decisions, but has warned there can be no let-up as they prepare to face Bournemouth at home on Saturday.<\/p>\n
‘So we know where we are going and we had our setbacks, especially at the start of the season,’ he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘Things went against us with injuries and decisions, and sometimes you find yourselves in such a place.<\/p>\n

‘You have to be sharp in every game. This league is very competitive and you see it in results this week. Everyone kills everyone.<\/p>\n
‘Bournemouth, they are also in very good form. We have seen them, a very good side. They have capable players. You have to play your best, everyone is killing everyone.’<\/p>\n
Asked if his team selection for Saturday might be influenced by Tuesday’s decisive Champions League group game against Bayern Munich at Old Trafford, Ten Hag added: ‘As a manager, my coaches and rest of the staff, we take everything into account,’ he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘But the next game is the more important, especially in the Premier League.’<\/p>\n
