Listen to It&#8217;s All Kicking Off<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aston Villa have finally received new shirts from sportswear manufacturer Castore after their men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s teams complained about the initial ones supplied earlier this season, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>The club urged Castore to provide their teams with new kit back in September as players became concerned that jerseys were becoming too heavy with sweat and it risked impairing performances.<\/p>\n<p>Three months later, the new shirts have finally been delivered, although Castore are still yet to inform Villa of the technical tweaks that have been made to the kit, as reported by <span>The Telegraph<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Castore had vowed to &#8216;address this issue as quickly as possible to meet the standards we expect&#8217; when it was first raised in September, and they believe they have now delivered on their promise.<\/p>\n<p>They believe it may have been caused by the BK8 sponsorship logo being emblazoned across the front of the shirts leading to an imbalance, but accepted full responsibility following Villa&#8217;s complaint.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/11\/16\/78827597-12850983-image-m-75_1702310518339.jpg\" height=\"692\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Aston Villa complained about the wet-look shirts provided by Castore at the start of the season<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/11\/16\/78827601-12850983-image-a-76_1702310554012.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The shirts were a particular concern during the warmer winter months, with players unhappy that they were becoming too heavy with sweat<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/11\/16\/78827595-12850983-image-a-77_1702310587274.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s team also complained, and new shirts have now been supplied by Castore<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Mail Sport revealed earlier this year, Villa and Castore were expected to end their multi-year partnership early following the &#8216;wet-look&#8217;
