Thompson was accompanied to the Octagon by a very special guest at UFC 296 &#8211; with Jack Black\u00a0walking out alongside him before his fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov.<\/p>\n<p>Thompson has long walked out to &#8216;Wonderboy&#8217; &#8211; the debut single of Black&#8217;s former rock-comedy band Tenacious D &#8211; and the two are also said to have been friends over the years.<\/p>\n<p>The unlikely duo notably linked up in the past when Black taught Thompson the &#8216;Kick of Destiny&#8217; during the leadup to his fight against Kevin Holland at UFC 279.<\/p>\n<p>The School of Rock star&#8217;s appearance was likely the highlight of Thompson&#8217;s night, however, as he went on to lose the fight against Rakhmonov after being submitted in the second round via a rear-naked choke.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/17\/05\/79050527-12873395-image-a-148_1702791938033.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Stephen &#8216;Wonderboy&#8217;
