Universal Champion Seth Rollins seems set to defeat Braun Strowman at Clash of Champions and then defend the belt against Bray Wyatt.
Rollins is scheduled to battle his fellow RAW Tag Team Champion Strowman for his world title on September 15 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
But a leaked promotional video suggests The Beastslayer will go on to put RAW’s premier title on the line against Wyatt on a non-televised house show on September 21 in Canada.
The 30-second clip said: “Edmonton, join the WWE Universe with a can’t-miss main event when Universal Champion Seth Rollins faces his newest nightmare.
To The Fiend Bray Wyatt, I will see you in the ring
“For the first time in Edmonton see Seth Rollins battle The Fiend Bray Wyatt.
“Don’t miss this epic collision when WWE Live comes to Edmonton.”
Rollins even sent a message of his own to Wyatt ahead of their scheduled clash.
The Kingslayer told the ex-WWE Champion he never backs down from a fight and is looking forward to their match.
Rollins said: “I don’t ever back down from a fight.
“To The Fiend Bray Wyatt, I will see you in the ring.”
WWE plans are always subject to change but if that is indeed the plan then Rollins is set to retain his belt against Strowman at Clash of Champions.
Rumours have been suggesting for weeks that Wyatt will become the next No1 Contender and will face the Universal Champion at Hell in a Cell on October 6 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
It has also been reported that The Fiend will compete against the champion in a Hell in a Cell Match.
If the speculation is correct then The Eater of Worlds could get involved in some capacity during the main event of Clash of Champions.
