Ronda Rousey has been linked with a shock WWE return at Survivor Series as fan theories intensify.
Rousey hasn’t been seen in WWE TV since WrestleMania 35 in April where she lost her first ever wrestling match.
The UFC Hall of Famer was controversially pinned by Becky Lynch in the inaugural all-women’s main-event match in WrestleMania history, which also included Charlotte Flair.
Lynch and the first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion’s intense feud hasn’t cooled off since and rumours suggest they are not yet done with each other.
I’m perfectly cool with that! After hearing/reading Ronda Rousey is around… it’s not hard to connect the dots
The RAW Women’s Champion is now involved in a feud with Rousey’s close friend and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.
The two wrestlers will face off tonight a Triple Threat Match that will also include SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.
The exciting bout is expected to be the main event of Survivor Series at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.
And a fan theory suggests that Rousey will make her long-awaited return to help Baszler win and form the MMA Four Horsewomen with the NXT Women’s Champion as well as her associates Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke.
TalkSPORT journalist Alex McCarthy echoed those rumours as he claims there are reports suggesting that the ex-RAW Women’s Champion is “around” at Survivor Series.
McCarthy tweeted: “Becky Lynch, Shayna Baszler and Bayley will main event #SurvivorSeries.
“I’m perfectly cool with that! After hearing/reading Ronda Rousey is around… it’s not hard to connect the dots.
“When was the last time Brock wasn’t first or last?!”
Rousey dominated in WWE during her first year in the company as she had perhaps the best in-ring debut in professional wrestling history at WrestleMania 34 where she teamed up with fellow Olympian Kurt Angle and defeated Triple H as well as Stephanie McMahon in a Tag Team Match.
Just four months later, The Baddest Woman on the Planet beat Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam to win the RAW Women’s Championship.
The Rowdy One went on to become the longest-reigning RAW Women’s Champion of all time with a 232-day stint.
The 32-year-old fighter also defeated some of the company’s biggest stars like Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley and many more.
Rousey recently hinted on Total Divas that she won’t wrestle again as she is looking to start a family with her husband Travis Browne but that could be a red herring.
