Jake Paul shows off incredible tattoos including ‘pretty funny’ Mayweather ink

Jake Paul recalled his infamous "gotcha hat" incident with Floyd Mayweather as he showed off his collection of tattoos.

'The Problem Child', 26, returns to the ring for his latest boxing bout on Friday (December 15), facing 10-1 pro Andre August at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida. It's his third outing of 2023, having lost to Tommy Fury before defeating Nate Diaz.

Ahead of the eighth fight of his career, Paul talked through his extensive set of body ink on the DAZN Boxing YouTube channel. He started with the first he ever got.

The Problem Child is back for this third fight of 2023. Jake Paul returns to the ring, live in Orlando on December 16. The YouTuber turned boxer will engage in a professional contest against Texas cruiserweight Andre August and you can watch it live on DAZN.

Pulling down his bottom lip to reveal the word "venture" on his gum, he explained how he didn't want his parents to know so got it in a concealed place.

He went on to show off the longest to complete, a piece by LA-based artist i.drewit on his ribs, which was "22 hours of sheer pain and misery" that left him limping for two weeks afterwards.

His attention then turned to the most random tattoo he's had. "It's the gotcha hat tattoo which I got in the airport after taking Floyd's hat. It's pretty funny," he claimed.

Paul stole Mayweather's baseball cap when they came face-to-face in Miami back in May 2021 ahead of his brother Logan's exhibition bout against Money, sparking an all-out brawl which earned him a black eye.

While that's one of many stunts Paul has pulled over the years, he showed his emotional side when discussing an ink on his right arm of his late bodyguard 'Shadow'.

Paul said: "He had this dream and he woke up one day and [told me] 'you're going to knock out Ben Askren in the first round, I see the vision'.

"Five days later he ended up passing away but before that, he said we have to get the time that you knocked him out in tattooed together.

"He passed away which made going into the fight super difficult. He's like this spartan warrior, an amazing guy. I upheld my end of the deal of getting the time and the tattoo in remembrance of him."

Paul added that his girlfriend, Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam, wasn't a massive fan of tattoos. "I don't think any of them [are her favourite]," he admitted. "She didn't like tattoos until she met me."
