Football fans have been left stunned by a piece of skill that has gone viral on social media.

South Korean goalkeeper coach and freestyler Oh Ji-hoon has gone viral for his outrageous skill which saw the 27-year-old appear to run around in a circle without touching the floor.

Ji-hoon, with over 65,000 followers on Instagram, took to social media to show off the skill, captioning the video: ‘SLICKBACK JUST REMEMBER THIS YOU CAN COPY THE PUNCH!!’

In the clip, Ji-hoon can be seen breaking down how you can perfect the jaw-dropping skill.

The first step involves moving the right foot up and down before directing it sideways to your right-hand side.

After that, the second step involves moving your left foot up and down before moving it into a right side direction too.

However, there is a slight twist. The tough challenge is to complete the skill as quick as possible.  You constantly repeat the move and then move around in a circle.

While it looks very easy on the eye, it takes a lot of practice to perfect the skill. Various TikTok users have then posted to the platform to try and perfectly replicate it – but haven’t come close to Ji-hoon’s effort.

Several users on Instagram have since responded to the original video, with many in disbelief over the sublime skill.

‘Your tutorial needs another tutorial,’ one user commented.

While another posted: ‘Teach meeeeee.’

‘He’s God’s little gift,’ another user commented.

The video was recently shared on the popular football Instagram account Overtime FC, with several reacting to the viral video.

Several users and football fans have given their reaction to the viral video on social media

Captioning the video, ‘Ain’t no way it’s THIS easy bro,’ football fans have had their say on the dazzling display from Ji-hoon.

‘I’m convinced he had powers and doesn’t kno that this is literally supposed to be impossible,’ one wrote.

‘Just tried it and almost broke my ankle,’ another wrote.

A third user commented: ‘Instructions unclear, tore my ACL.’

Soon after Ji-hoon uploaded the viral video, popular K-pop band ENHYPEN attempted to show off their own version at a recent concert. The leader of the group, Jungwon, admitted that Ni-ki can perfect the challenge.

Despite many users on Instagram being left stunned by the skill, there are a fair few who are a bit sceptical by the move.

‘It’s fake. It’s in reverse,’ one user commented.

‘Hell no this ain’t real,’ another user commented.

A third user commented: ‘I think he skipped over the part where he tells us how to float.’

There also appears to be a few people on social media who have managed to work out how he is able to perform the unique skill.

‘Absolutely amazing, I can see how he’s doing it.

‘A foot is on the ground at all times but he’s got insane coordination and flow with it.

‘But as I understand it, I won’t be able to do it,’ a user posted.

‘No, it’s just a visual trick. The front foot exaggerates ”floating” to distract you from the fact the back leg hits the ground every time. Watch the back foot only and it makes sense,’ another wrote.

‘Okay, I finally figured it out. When his foot foes back, it touches the ground and when it goes forward, it’s floating.

‘I think we’re mostly looking at the foot when it’s forward which is always in the air lol! It’s a cool illusion.’

Some users on social media appear to be a bit sceptical about the viral video

Even though Ji-hoon’s skill has recently gone viral, it turns out that this is not the first time we have seen this move before.

The skill was created was created by TikToker and professional dancer Jubi, aka @jubi2fye, back in February 2022 and was named the ‘Jubi Slide.’

In the viral video, it shows Jubi performing the move in a shopping centre surrounded by his friends to the song ‘Aye Bay Bay’ by Jersey Anniversary.

This challenge has since seen a lot of TikTokers attempt to replicate the skill – with most failing miserably.
