UFC great Stipe Miocic joins OnlyFans but won’t be copying Paige VanZant

Two-time UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic has stepped into the world of OnlyFans – but with a difference. Miocic has joined the likes of fellow combat sports athletes Paige VanZant and Ebanie Bridges in signing up for the raunchy social media platform.

Stars have found OnlyFans to provide a strong source of income, sharing raunchy and explicit snaps for fans who pay a subscription fee. VanZant and Bridges are both among the most high-profile users on the site.

However, MMA fighter Miocic – the current No 3 in the UFC’s heavyweight rankings – will be using OnlyFans for a different purpose. There will be no sexy images or videos of the 41-year-old fighter.

Instead, Miocic has entered into a partnership with the platform to share exclusive behind-the-scenes content. He will also update fans on his day-to-day activities after having his upcoming fight with Jon Jones cancelled.

He said: “I’m excited to partner with OnlyFans, as they focus on expanding the platform, to show more exclusive behind-the-scenes content for my next fight, as well as my everyday life.”

Miocic was supposed to fight Jones in Madison Square Garden but his opponent has been forced to pull out due to injury. Sharing one of his first updates on OnlyFans, Miocic said: “How did I feel when I woke up today? Like I got kicked in the nuts.

“In the morning, I woke up to my phone vibrating. It was dark, I had my son on top of me, trying to move and get my phone.

“I finally got my phone and had a text message from my manager saying my fight was off. I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night. I was supposed to fight Jon Jones in about two weeks in New York, UFC 295, Madison Square Garden. I was pretty excited about that. Actually really excited.

“I guess he tore something in his chest. Unfortunately that happens. It’s part of the game. Hopefully he gets better and feels better, but what happens now. Do I fight somebody else? I don’t know.”

Promoters made no effort to rebook Miocic out of ‘respect’, boss Dana White claimed. However, the American was unhappy that he was left unpicked. “I don’t know why I didn’t get picked, which is fine,” Miocic continued. “I understand they have a direction they want to go. I’m okay with that.

“Every guy in the division is tough. I definitely want to fight the biggest fish, which is Jon Jones. It wasn’t my choice, it was theirs. Listen, everything happens for a reason. The fight being cancelled, it sucks. No question about it. Unfortunately that’s just the game we’re in. It happens.

“Like I said, I hope he’s okay. You want to be the best, you’ve got to beat the best. I want that belt back. It’s my belt. It’s going to happen.”
