KSI believes that more people will tune in to see him spar IShowSpeed than will watch Jake Paul’s professional bout with Andre August.
YouTube boxer has agreed to take on the American on December 15, the same night that his arch-rival Paul makes a return to the ring in Florida.
KSI and Speed have maintained a good public relationship and shared a couple of hilarious encounters in last year’s Sidemen charity match. But the pair have agreed to go head-to-head in the UK, with all proceeds going to the Anthony Walker Foundation.
Speaking on the Sidemen podcast Sidecast, KSI admitted that the intensity of the match would be dictated by his fellow internet star and he guaranteed that the clash would generate more interest than Paul’s.
‘It depends on how hard he goes.’ He said. ‘If he’s going nuts then I’m going to put him in cage.

Paul will take on little known cruiserweight fighter Andre August on December 15 in Florida
‘It’ll be good. They’ll be a lot of people watching. I know they’ll be more people watching our spar than Jake’s fight.’
Paul is coming off a points win over former UFC star Nate Diaz in the summer, having suffered the first defeat of his professional boxing career against Tommy Fury in February.
He is taking on the little known cruiserweight August, a 35-year-old fighter with only one loss from 12 professional bouts. However, he has fought just once in the last three years.
‘I’m a professional boxer and I want to be world champion,’ Paul said in a statement announcing the fight last month. ‘So I need to pursue the path towards greatness against people who have been boxing their whole life.’
