Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou radio coverage – How to listen to fight for free

Five potential opponents for Jake Paul on boxing return

Boxing fans are gearing up for a big-name fight with a difference tonight as Tyson Fury faces Francis Ngannou in a Saudi Arabia crossover contest.

WBC Heavyweight champion Fury will not be contesting his belt but will instead be testing his skills against former UFC champion Ngannou who is said to have the hardest punch in the world.

It will be the African’s first ever foray into the world of professional boxing and he could hardly be starting with a tougher opponent than the undefeated Gypsy King. The ten-round fight is being billed as a contest to determine exactly who is the ‘Baddest man on the planet’, sparking plenty of global interest.

A full undercard will commence at 6pm UK time, before Fury and Ngannou commence their ring walks at approximately 9.50pm, subject to the undercard running to schedule.

The glitzy event, which will also mark the opening of the Riyadh entertainment season in Saudi Arabia, is being shown exclusively live on TNT Sports Box Office in the UK. Punters will need to pay £21.95 to watch the action.

However, you can follow the fight in the UK for nothing by listening to it on the radio. TalkSPORT will be covering the fight so fans will be able to follow the fight live through the app or on DAB digital radio, through your smart speaker and on 1089 or 1053 AM.

Quotes

Fury said: “This is big time boxing, so welcome to big time boxing. Am I a heavy favourite? Two giant men swinging at each other and whoever lands first will go down? It’s very difficult to hit me even if you’ve got a handful of rice. He’s either gonna sink or swim and either way, I’m knocking him out.”

Ngannou said: “There is definitely a good respect otherwise he wouldn’t have taken the fight. In order for him to take a fight against somebody who is fighting for the first time, he respects them as an opponent and knows they are legit. This is already a success and a win, I’ve won already and on Saturday night I’m going out there to get a second win.”
