Brooks Koepka’s Ryder Cup preparation took an unexpected twist this week when he got a grilling about his wife’s feet.

Koepka, the only LIV Golf representative on Team USA, was talking to Barstool Sports when its presenter/personality Jersey Jerry turned attention to Jena Sims.

‘Don’t take this the wrong way Brooks, please,’ he said. ‘What size shoe is your wife?’

Fortunately, Koepka did not take it the wrong way and saw the funny side.

‘I think she’s an eight,’ he said with a laugh, before Jerry followed up with another question: ‘What color nail polish does she use in the summer?’

Koepka saw the funny side in the Barstool Sports interview ahead of the Ryder Cup

Koepka and Sims met in 2015 at the Masters in Augusta – here, they are seen at the 2023 event

Amid more giggling, Koepka said: ‘I don’t know. Summer time, I think she goes for bright colors.’

The 34-year-old Sims saw the interview herself and shared the clip in question on her Instagram story, saying ‘right and right’ to Koepka’s answers.

The couple got married in June 2022 after first meeting in 2015 at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia.

Koepka and Sims had their first child together in July – a son named Crew – but he had spent his first 20 days in hospital after being born six weeks early.

The couple took him home in mid-August, with Sims taking to social media to say: ‘Thank you to the angels on earth in the @jupitermedicalcenter NICU for taking such good care of our baby.’

Now, attention is turning to golf with the Ryder Cup just days away.

The tournament runs from September 29 – October 1 in Rome, Italy, with Koepka and the United States narrow favorites to win the competition on European soil.

The U.S. is the current holder of the trophy, winning the 2021 event at Whistling Straits 19-9.
