MMA star strips down from Man City shirt to underwear during weigh-in for fight

Dakota Ditcheva made sure to represent Manchester City at her weigh-in for her PFL Europe final.

The 25-year-old (9-0) is undefeated in her professional MMA career and has the opportunity to capture championship gold on Friday (December 8) when she takes on Valentina Scatizzi in the final of the PFL Europe Women's flyweight tournament at the 3Arena in Dublin.

In her weigh-in on Thursday, the Manchester native sported the home top of her beloved Manchester City before taking it off to weigh in for the biggest fight of her career so far. She donned underwear underneat the City jersey as she captioned a video: "CHAMPIONSHIP WEIGHT MADE #Professional as always".

The 25-year-old recently spoke to Daily Star Sport, and admitted despite her success in the sport, she went almost a decade without training MMA during her younger days. "When I was four years old, I had 2 or 3 fights but I completely stopped from four years old to about 12 or 13, I didn't train at all," she said.

"I don't remember whether I didn't like it and my mum wasn't ever pushy, she didn't want me to fight either. I was just always around it because she has her own gym." The proud Mancunian spoke highly of her city and the amount of MMA talent that it's generating.
