Jean Todt has admitted there's no answer to the health condition of F1 legend Michael Schumacher.
The former Ferrari boss has been a long-time friend of the seven-time champion and is one of a very few that are allowed to visit Schumacher, 54, at his home in Switzerland since his traumatic skiing injury in 2013.
The former Benetton, Ferrari and Mercedes driver hasn't been seen since the injury as Todt, 77, opened up on the pair's close friendship that has spanned over 25 years.

Speaking to La Stampa, the Frenchman said: "Michael is a friend, I consider him part of my family. I go to see him regularly, in the past we have followed Grand Prix races on TV."
He was reluctant to answer questions regarding Schumacher's health, stating it's private, as he added: "But the question 'how is he?' doesn't find an answer, because maybe he doesn't have one. It's a private matter. The only thing I'll say is that I adore Michael, I adore his family and it's right to respect their privacy."

Todt was the man responsible for recruiting Schumacher to Ferrari in 1996 from Benetton but the pair were under immense pressure after going without a world championship for the first four years of their partnership. However, after the German's triumph in 2000, it was the beginning of a dynasty at Ferrari.
Schumacher went on to win four more consecutive titles to mark seven championships – a record when he retired – and has since only been matched by Lewis Hamilton.

Todt spoke on the progression of their relationship from a strictly working standpoint to a personal one. "At first professional, then with ever greater trust, until it became a great friendship," Todt said.
"The situation was disastrous at the beginning. In '96 there was a lot of talk about my dismissal. Michael had just arrived and saw that my plan was right, the people who were about to arrive and with whom I was dealing in secret corresponded to our plan. This is why he intervened and said: 'If Todt leaves, I'll leave too'."
