Arsenal reportedly want two conditions met before they allow Jakub Kiwior to leave the club in January. AC Milan are keen on signing the defender and want to repeat a deal they struck with Chelsea two years ago.
Kiwior joined Arsenal last January in a deal worth around £21million. He was brought in to provide cover at both centre-back and left-back.
Game time has been hard to come by for the Pole this season, starting just three times in the Premier League, most recently away to Luton Town on Tuesday night. Each of the three starts came in his least preferred left-back role.
He still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, with the option of a further 12 months. But Milan are looking to take advantage of his lack of football in north London.

Calcio Mercato claimed earlier this week that discussions had already been held between Arsenal and Milan over a potential deal for Kiwior. It was reported that the Gunners were reluctant to let the versatile star leave.
The same outlet now says that Arsenal would only sanction an exit on two conditions. The first being that they will not allow Kiwior to leave on a loan deal.
Arsenal would want to bring in money in order to sign a replacement or fund other January deals, with a midfielder on their agenda. It is claimed that the Gunners ‘expect’ to receive a permanent offer for Kiwior.
The second condition set is the Gunners do not want to suffer a loss and will therefore not accept any offer lower than the £21m they paid for the 23-year-old. Calcio Mercato says Milan would prefer to sign Kiwior on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The Serie A club pulled off a similar deal in 2021 when they lured Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea. They made the move for the England star permanent the following summer for a fee worth up to £30m.
Milan may feel their chances of signing Kiwior have increased following recent comments by Gunners boss Arteta. The Spaniard claimed that he could not guarantee that any player would still be at the club beyond the January window.
He said: “I can’t tell you that any Arsenal player is not going to leave in January. Or he is to stay here for the next three years.
“I cannot guarantee that nobody is going to be leaving in January. For Newcastle or any other club.”
