Italian striker Mario Balotelli could be in hot water once again after reportedly crashing his car into a wall in his native Brescia.
According to Italian daily Fatto Quotidiano, the 33-year-old – who re-joined Turkish club Adana Demirspor after he was released by Swiss side Sion in September – was driving an Audi Q8 when the accident occurred on Thursday. The crash was reportedly serious enough that all airbags were deployed, while the car was left 'destroyed'.
It's also alleged the former Manchester City and Liverpool forward then staggered from the wreckage before police arrived on the scene. However, it's believed Balotelli suffered no serious injuries.

Reports suggest the former Azzurri frontman was 'unharmed' despite being treated by medical personnel on the scene. The Champions League-winner and one-time Premier League champion recently voiced his intention to regain a place in Luciano Spalletti's squad.
It's not the first time Balotelli has been involved in a car crash, having previously sent a Fiat 500 Abarth into the gates of a bakery at 5am on New Year's Day in 2020. A decade prior to that, he wrote off a £120,000 Audi R8 while on the books in Manchester.
Local reports indicated Balotelli had 'cheated death' after he was able to walk away from the crash site unscathed. It's easy to see why after witnessing images of the wreck, with the bonnet at least partially crushed and his front-right tyre all but obliterated.
The veteran previously played for hometown Brescia during the 2019/20 season but couldn't prevent the team from being relegated. He's since appeared for Monza, Adana and Sion, enjoying his greatest return to form in Turkey's Super Lig, where he bagged 19 goals in 33 outings back in the 2021/22 campaign.

He moved to Sion shortly after that season concluded but made it just halfway through his two-year deal before his contract was terminated by the club. That 12-month spell proved chaotic to say the least, with Sion bosses unimpressed by the player's attitude, which was said to have 'ruined the atmosphere' as they were relegated in his sole season in Switzerland.
It's yet to be seen whether Balotelli will require any further attention following the collision. And any immediate return to football in Adana could be delayed even further as a result.
