Former Watford and Burnley striker Andre Gray is heading to Saudi Arabia – even though their transfer window closed on Thursday.
Gray’s contract with Aris Salonika was cancelled by mutual consent last week allowing him to join Al-Riyadh as a free agent with the deal expected to be confirmed soon.
The 32-year-old has been a consistent goalscorer in England for several clubs including Luton, Brentford and QPR before going to play in Greece in 2022.
He married Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock earlier this year and also has 13 international caps for Jamaica.
Across his spells at Burnley and Watford, Gray played 115 times in the Premier League and scored 23 goals, while he provided eight assists.

Gray featured in the Premier League for both Burnley and Watford before heading to Greece
Gray won the Championship title with Burnley in 2015-16 and the Conference Premier with Luton in 2013-14.
