Graeme Souness has once again ripped into Paul Pogba and has labelled the former Manchester United midfielder a ‘lazy t**t’.

Souness regularly slammed the Frenchman while on punditry duties for Sky Sports as well as in his opinion columns for The Times, with some accusing the Liverpool legend of taking his criticism too far.
Pogba largely struggled in his second spell at United between 2016 and 2022 before he returned to Italian club Juventus last summer.
The 30-year-old is now in trouble in Turin after testosterone was found in his system during a drugs test last month and he is potentially facing a lengthy ban.
Souness, speaking at a Second Captains podcast live event in Dublin, has rolled back the years by hitting out at Pogba yet again.
‘He’s an extremely talented young man. He should be one of the best midfield players in the world, but he’s lazy,’ Souness said.
‘If you remember how he used to take penalties [with a stutter-step technique] that was him wanting to be the star of the show for that period of time.
‘If he’s lazy in matches he’ll be lazy in training and how can you get after the rest of them if you don’t get after him.’
Quizzed if he felt his criticism of Pogba ever went too far, Souness added: ‘Not for a nanosecond, no, he’s a lazy t**t.’
Meanwhile, France head coach Didier Deschamps says he is ‘surprised’ by Pogba’s failed drugs test and is adamant that the midfielder would not knowingly take a banned substance.
