While his Manchester United team-mates were busy taking on Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Jadon Sancho had his feet up playing the new EA Sports FC 24 game.
Or at least that appeared to be the case after one streamer found himself in an unexpected Pro Clubs match with the banished baller. Sancho, 23, has been told to train separately from the rest of United's squad following a spat with manager Erik ten Hag, which saw the winger suggest he was being 'scapegoated' after his training mentality was questioned.
The former Borussia Dortmund star remains out of Ten Hag's rotation for the time being, having spent much of last term training alone in the Netherlands due to 'physical and mental' concerns. And it appears the player may not have been all that fussed on keeping up to date with United's fortunes in Bavaria during his time away from the squad.

Screengrabs circulated on social media earlier on Wednesday evening, which showed a player under the tag 'Sanch_x10' playing Pro Clubs. And another image from the game's lobby appeared to indicate he was playing with fellow England international Tammy Abraham, who has been out injured of late.
While players are more than entitled to their leisure time, some United fans may wonder whether their outcast star could be spending his hours more wisely on a match day. Sancho is seeking to curry favour with Ten Hag, who travelled to Germany with something of a skeleton crew amid a spate of injuries.

The Red Devils are already coping with injuries in defence as Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka each missed out. But their problems worsened when Harry Maguire was forced to pull out of the squad on short notice.
United travelled to Bavaria following back-to-back 3-1 losses against Arsenal and Brighton, hoping Europe would grant some respite from their recent misfortune. And the squad could use a player of Sancho's potential getting back to his best.
As well as the Champions League, TNT Sports will also be offering sports fans access to games across the Premier League, Europa League, Serie A and much more.
You can also watch the biggest events in boxing, UFC, WWE and get exclusive action from MLB.

The English powerhouse is already making do without winger Antony, who has been given a leave of absence while he's investigated by police under accusations of domestic abuse. That story emerged after Mason Greenwood was already sent to Getafe on loan following his 18-month suspension at Old Trafford.
