Wolves defender Jonny Otto has reportedly been removed from the squad after spitting at a staff member and trashing the training ground.
Otto, 29, is alleged to have clashed with Wolves youngster Tawanda Chirewa during a training session at Compton Park in the build-up to the Premier League game against Arsenal on December 2. He reportedly reacted to a challenge from the 20-year-old striker by throwing an elbow, which did not make contact according to The Athletic.
The livid full-back then allegedly spat at a member of the coaching staff who was attempting to diffuse the situation. And after being ordered to go back inside the training ground building in shame, the former Spain international once more unleashed his wrath.

Otto allegedly took out his frustration on the equipment in the players’ room, where first-team players relax before and after training, reportedly smashing a TV and a table. And sporting director Matt Hobbs has revealed he will now train away from the first-team until at least the end of January.
Hobbs said: “I’ve sat down with him, he’s apologised, and we have outlined the way forward. We had a conversation and have agreed that at least until the end of the January window he won’t be part of the first-team group.
“He will still be training at the club and, if he chooses, he can play for the under-21s to keep up his match sharpness, and I think, knowing him, he’ll probably do that.

“This is a guy who has been a great servant to the football club. One incident doesn’t define the role he’s played during the successful times and the man he is day to day around the place.
“Everybody has moments and that’s all it was, but we have to deal with it and move forward for the wider group.”
Otto is certain to miss Sunday’s visit to West Ham, as well as the festive period fixtures against Chelsea, Brentford and Everton. The defender has made just one league appearance this season, as well as two in the EFL Cup.
